Day 1 of the rest of the year.
Well, today wasn't really as bad as I expected. I wasn't 'The Lone Ranger' getting up from my seat to show my class that I was the one who didn't do my work. Actually, I wasn't a Ranger at all. I had completed my work as I was supposed to, and I was confidently sitting on my seat. (Thanks to Shwetha.)
We had a couple of new teachers replacing our old ones, a LOT of the first day euphoria of meeting our friends after the vacation, (According to our supervisor.) and, I have to admit, I did have a little bit of fun. But everything is STILL the same. I HATE Maths, I LOVE English, and school hasn't even changed a bit.
But, anyway, the worst thing is, Exams are just less 20 days away. I'm doing EVERYTHING I can to catch up with my studies. I take up ALL my free time at school, and just study away. If my class didn't know me, everyone would just think I am a paranoid nerd. But, read the second to last sentence again, "I take up ALL my free time at school." AT SCHOOL. I'm still the lazy hippo I've always been at home. Well, for the time being. (Why am I procrastinating SO MUCH?)
And I just got home from stationery shopping. I saw an amazing hand-stitched notebook in Paperchase, but it was too expensive. All the good notebooks over here are above 50 AED, which is probably around 14 American Dollars. It might not be that much in America. But around here it is.
Oh, The Economy, controlling almost everything. (Mostly, money. But everything costs money these days. So.. Whatever.)
And according to my observations, my bag seems to be getting heavier everyday. Why can't lockers exist where they should?
Whatever.
