The Next Week

Day 7 of the rest of the year.

Yum, Ice cream is very tasty. It's been an hour since I came back from tutoring, and I am AMAZINGLY not tired. It has been an off study day for me, since I wasn't my usual, 'perky' self in ENGLISH. AND I QUOTE, "ENGLISH." The other subjects can go to hell. Except for Islamic and Arabic, 'cuz I like that, and I'm learning about my religion and it's language. SO, it is good.
Though, I was doing good in tutoring today. I just need to study A LOT today.

Anyway, I was just going through my syllabus for math for my 1st semester exam, and I was just analyzing how good I am at it, and if it will EVER come to use in life.

Maths list:

  • Number system (25% understood) - Use: IN. MY. ASS. (OR maybe SOMETIMES in some complex job)
  • Polynomials (69% understood) - Use: IN. MY. BLEEPING. ASS. (SERIOUSLY)
  • Coordinate Geometry (100% understood) - Use: Probably in architecture or some seating arrangements.
  • Introduction to Euclid's Geometry (89% understood) - Use: None. Because this was the thing that STARTED geometry. Almost centuries ago. I don't see any use of it in ANYONE'S life.
  • Lines and Angles (97% understood) - Use: Architecture. Maybe. Who knows?
  • Triangles (-1000000000000000% understood) - Use: I HAVE NO IDEA. It is just CRAP. It makes a simple, three-sided figure into a BIG DEAL. No, HUMONGOUS DEAL.
  • Heron's formula (91% understood) - Use: I know there is a use, but I'm not sure WHAT. It's probably for people who measure things. Probably measurers?
Well, that's it. It actually made me feel better about myself.

Irene was absent today. Whenever Irene or Shwetha are absent, Usually something happens in our class. Today, it was my acting. In English class, we are learning an excerpt from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's (India's 11th President) autobiography, and he was talking about his friends, somewhere between the lines, I had to act like his friend's father, and APPARENTLY, I was acting like a too strict father, (Well, I had to, the friend's father was a Hindu Priest.) and WHENEVER, I do ALMOST ANYTHING, my class starts laughing. I should probably ask Shwetha, WHY they do that.

I should probably start doing some work. My first exam starts on the 20th. LUCKY ME.

Whatever.
-Sam Frank.
